The secret to staying cool comes down to fabric, fit, and color. Here’s our own Chris Warren to walk you through a few hand-picked items for summer comfort:

Fabrics To Keep You Cool
Fabrics that will keep you cool are breathable materials like linen, cotton, or a lightweight performance fabric. These fabrics not only provide ventilation but also help to draw away any excess moisture from your skin.
Our Everett cotton polo is a great choice or any of our performance polos built with moisture-wicking technology, like the Clarence or the Raynor.
Try A More Relaxed Fit
Summer is a great time to consider choosing styles that don’t fit tight to your body. This allows for better airflow, enhancing your comfort and helping sweat evaporate faster.
Our sport shirts are cut with a traditional fit, so they won’t cling to your body. The Collin Polka Dot sport shirt is a great choice.

Choose Cooler Colors
Another tip is to choose lighter colors that can help minimize sweating. Dark colors tend to absorb light, while light colors reflect it. To combat the dreaded summer sweat, opt for shades like white, lavender, yellow, pale pink, or light blue.
Several of our performance polos feature hints of color splashed on a white background.
The same goes for shorts and pants. Summer is no time for dark denim, so switch over to a lightweight cotton or performance pant. Our Lawton 5-Pocket Performance pant is made from a special moisture-wicking fabric that looks like a traditional cotton poplin.
