We’re always eager to highlight friends and organizations making their corner of the world a better place.
Through our friends at The Friars Club, we recently connected with one of their members taking on an interesting challenge in an effort to make golf available and affordable for America’s kids.
We recently sat down with Clem Venable, a Greensboro, NC based software consultant, to find out about his adventure in the 100 Hole Hike event to benefit Youth on Course.
On September 19, Venable teamed up with the Virginia State Golf Association to compete in the 100 Hole Hike at The Schoolhouse Nine in Virginia.
The 100 Hole Hike is a mashup of a marathon and a golf tournament, with players testing their own physical limits while raising money for Youth On Course.
And here’s the kicker: it’s all on foot.
