For years, collars have been pushed in one direction—made heavier, reinforced with gimmicks, or overbuilt in the name of performance. But strength without balance is not refinement.
At Turtleson, we set out to reimagine what a collar could be. Inside our Bristol, TN headquarters, we pushed our design team through nearly a year of prototypes, trials, and partnerships with leading fabric mills. Every detail was tested, refined, and rebuilt until the result matched the ambition.
The result is the Standwell Collar. Crafted with proprietary bonded fabric construction, it achieves structural integrity from within—holding its intended shape naturally, without distortion, stays, or hidden buttons. Its architecture allows for true placket proportions, preserving the balance and fit of the entire shirt.
