Charlie Wi built a professional career that crossed continents before reaching PGA TOUR Champions. Born in Seoul, he played college golf at the University of California and turned professional in 1995.
His international record includes seven Asian Tour victories. The 2006 Maybank Malaysian Open, co-sanctioned with the European Tour, is among those wins and forms an important landmark in a career that later included extensive PGA TOUR competition.
Wi moved into senior golf after turning fifty and remains active on PGA TOUR Champions in 2026. His current official record includes three top-ten finishes and strong putting statistics. That ongoing competition adds a new chapter to a career established through victories in Asia and experience across the game's international professional circuits.
