Davis Shore's route into professional golf began in Knoxville, Tennessee, and continued at the University of Alabama. He turned professional in 2021, bringing his college experience into the PGA TOUR development system.
By 2026, Shore was competing in his third consecutive Korn Ferry Tour season. Entering the season finale, he had played 24 events with five top-10 finishes and nine top-25s. That steady collection of results put him within reach of his first PGA TOUR card.
Shore completed the season eighteenth on the points list, securing PGA TOUR membership for 2027. He closed the Korn Ferry Tour Championship tied for thirty-first at six under. The promotion marks a new stage in his career.
