Beyond the scorecard
The road to here.
Drew Shepherd's golf background began around Chicago and at Hinsdale Central High School. His school team won Illinois Class 3A state titles in each year from 2013 through 2016, before he continued his playing career at the University of Kansas.
At Kansas, Shepherd competed in collegiate tournaments and earned Academic All-Big 12 recognition. His 2018-19 season included a tied fourth finish at The Jackrabbit, while his regional amateur record included a semifinal appearance at the CDGA Amateur.
He later competed on PGA TOUR Americas, with official records confirming appearances during the 2025 Latin America swing. His career has brought together collegiate golf, regional amateur events and professional tournament opportunities. The progression extends a golf background first established through Illinois team competition into the broader professional game.
