Joe Durant's route into professional golf began at Huntingdon College in Alabama, where he won the 1987 NAIA individual championship and earned All-America honors three times. He turned professional that year and later won on the Nike Tour, now the Korn Ferry Tour.
His first PGA TOUR victory came at the 1998 Motorola Western Open. Durant went on to win four times on the PGA TOUR, with his most recent title arriving at the 2006 Funai Classic at Walt Disney World Resort.
After turning fifty, he added a second winning chapter on PGA TOUR Champions. Five victories on that circuit include the 2024 Cologuard Classic. Durant remains part of the 2026 Champions competition, carrying a record that links college success, development-tour experience and victories across two major professional circuits.
