Marcus Armitage

Marcus Armitage worked his way through the EuroPro Tour before reaching the European development circuit. Three EuroPro victories and a fourth-place money-list finish helped him move up in 2015. A win at the Foshan Open then secured his first DP World Tour playing privileges.

The path included another trip through Qualifying School. In 2019, he finished tied thirteenth after six rounds in Spain; two months later, a birdie on the final hole earned third place at the South African Open. Fellow professional Robert Rock had helped him reach that tournament by lending him the airfare.

Armitage became a DP World Tour winner at the 2021 Porsche European Open, closing with a 65 for a two-shot victory. The 2025–26 campaign marks his eighth full season on the circuit, carrying that career forward across the Race to Dubai schedule.
