Team Tennessee
A statewide pathway for the next generation

Beyond the scorecard
The road to here.
Team Tennessee connects the state’s leading junior golfers with the USGA U.S. National Development Program. Tennessee was among the original seven pilot states, and its program brings together the Tennessee Golf Association, Tennessee Golf Foundation and Tennessee PGA Section to support a shared development pathway.
The 2026 roster contains eight boys and eight girls selected through their performances during the 2025 season. PGA of America coach Joe Hallett and PGA TOUR winner Scott Stallings serve as captains, linking the program with experience from instruction and professional competition.
Selected athletes receive development opportunities that include in-person sessions, webinars, consideration for tournament exemptions and access to a streamlined grant application process. The team’s role is to support junior progress and competition across Tennessee. Individual player results belong to their respective events, rather than a single professional-tour team scoreboard.
