What does it take to become a viral internet comedy sensation?
In the case of Josh Mancuso, it’s a seamless combination of Southern charm, everyman relatability, and serious comedy chops.
As a seasoned actor and award-winning filmmaker, Mancuso is no stranger to either side of the camera, but his viral success caught fire in 2022 with a series of videos reimagining how college mascots got their name.
These days, Josh’s videos are among the most-shared clips on Instagram, pulling in millions of views and tons of chatter in the comments.
Born in Los Angeles and raised right here in our backyard in Tennessee, Josh has become a great friend of ours here at Turtleson. Like so many of us in our office and like so many of you, Josh is serious about his craft, but he doesn’t take himself too seriously.
